Busy, Busy, Busy…

The weeks before the Winter Holiday season are always filled with lots of activities.  Here are some upcoming events you’ll want to know about:

Wednesday, December 14 is our scheduled monthly tour of the program.  Members of the community interested in Montessori education for their children tour our school and get a good overview of Montessori pedagogy and how we implement it here at Brush Creek at the toddler, Primary, and Elementary levels.  The tour begins at 10am.  Please R.S.V.P. to the office if you are interested.

Friday, December 16 is a Dine and Donate at Chipotle restaurant in Coddingtown Mall.  Stop by with a copy of the flier advertising our school’s event and whopping 50% of the proceeds go to us!  This is an all day event, so stop by the office before heading over to Chipotle on Friday!

Friday, December 23 is our annual Holiday Festival and early dismissal for the Winter Break.  Primary families enjoy treats and a short music program (see your classroom pages/teachers for details) in their classrooms before heading over at 11am to enjoy a longer musical performance by our Lower and Upper Elementary students.  The “Soaring Birds Coffee” stand will be running with treats for sale to help the Sequoia students with their annual overnight trip.  The concert should conclude by noon.  Dismissal for all students is at noon.

Monday, December 26-Friday January 6 is Winter Break! Have a safe and happy holiday!
